  • Most derived from clay and mud

Cruz Plaza Concerns
  • While under construction, they must make sure the dirt and gravel does not wash away during a rainstorm
  • While digging, they must be aware of water lines, gas lines, electrical lines, along with any underground roots to make sure equipment don't get messed up and the workers and surrounding people are safe

Lab #1

This is the science center parking lot where we found the volume of rainfall on the parking lot with a .5 inch rainfall. We found that the volume is roughly 17,310 gallons. A standard swimming pool has 10,000 gallons. Therefor, the volume of the parking lot is roughly 1 1/2 times the volume of a standard swimming pool.
