This is the science center parking lot where we found the volume of rainfall on the parking lot with a .5 inch rainfall. We found that the volume is roughly 17,310 gallons. A standard swimming pool has 10,000 gallons. Therefor, the volume of the parking lot is roughly 1 1/2 times the volume of a standard swimming pool.
